Support for Thurston Housing Land Trust helps create a path to affordable homeownership for people of low or modest income who could not otherwise afford it. The good news is that path also benefits everyone in the community. Research shows that neighborhoods with higher rates of owner-occupied homes are more stable, safer, and economically resilient. Your donation helps make that happen.
As a young nonprofit we depend on support from our members, board of trustees, and community donors, as well as grants, to fulfill our affordable housing mission. Every contribution makes a difference, but this year your donations are even more important. We have been selected for a $25,000 operating grant with a matching component that will provide the capacity (staffing) we need to develop and expand our program and offer more homes to more people. This is a fantastic chance to make an even bigger difference in our community, and we appreciate everyone who is able to help along the way.

As a 501(c)3 tax-exempt charitable organization, we are eligible for contributions from savings funds. We are also registered with the state of Washington's Combined Fund Drive for state employees who prefer to give through payroll deductions.
